Prices vary with roof size, pitch, access and materials, so we quote on the individual job. As a guide, published 2026 UK figures suggest:

• Flat roof coverings roughly £70 to £100 per square metre for bitumen felt, £90 to £130 for EPDM rubber, £95 to £150 for GRP fibreglass and £150 to £200 or more for lead.
• A full replacement on a typical pitched roof commonly falls between about £5,000 and £12,000, with larger or hipped roofs costing more.
• Scaffolding, waste disposal and any timber repairs are normally extra lines in a quote.

Flat roofs on extensions, garages and dormers fail differently from pitched roofs: ponding water, cracked felt and poor details at edges and upstands are the usual causes. Common modern coverings include EPDM rubber, GRP fibreglass and single-ply membranes, and we can advise which suits your roof and budget.
